Privacy Policy

Diddit is designed to keep your information private. There is no Diddit account to create, and Diddit does not run its own servers that store your logs. This policy explains what happens to your data and the few third parties involved.

Your logbook data

The trackers, log entries, group names, and shared groups you create are stored in your own iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit. Your private data is kept in your private iCloud database, and data you share is kept in a shared iCloud database accessible to the people you invite. The developer of Diddit cannot read the contents of your private logbook. Apple's handling of iCloud data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

What the app does not collect

The Diddit app contains no advertising, no usage analytics, and no third-party tracking. It does not build a profile of you, and it does not sell or share your personal information.

Website analytics

This website (but not the app) uses Simple Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics service, to count page visits. Simple Analytics does not use cookies, does not collect or store IP addresses, and does not create a profile of you or track you across sites. It records only aggregate information such as page views, referring site, country, and browser type. Its handling of this data is governed by Simple Analytics' Privacy Policy.

Subscriptions and payments

If you purchase Diddit Plus, the payment is processed by Apple through your App Store account. Diddit never sees your card or payment details.

To manage subscriptions and unlock Diddit Plus, Diddit uses RevenueCat, a subscription-management service. RevenueCat assigns your installation an anonymous identifier (it is not linked to your name or email) and receives your purchase and subscription history along with basic device information, such as device model, operating-system version, and country, in order to determine whether your subscription is active. RevenueCat's handling of this data is governed by RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

Feedback

If you choose to send feedback, the "Get in Touch" link uses Letterbird, a third-party contact-form service. Any name, email, or message you enter there is submitted to Letterbird and forwarded to the developer so we can respond. You only share this information if you decide to contact us.

Data retention and deletion

Because your logbook lives in your iCloud account, you control it. You can delete individual entries or groups within the app, and you can remove all of the app's data by deleting Diddit's data in your device's iCloud settings or by deleting the app. Subscription records held by Apple and RevenueCat are retained according to their respective policies. Children's privacy

Diddit is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR (Europe) or the CCPA (California), including the right to access or delete personal data. Because Diddit does not maintain its own database of your information, most of your data is under your direct control in iCloud. For any request related to the limited data described above, contact us and we will assist.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
